DAVID L WILLIAMS Director/Producer/Co-writer, Shooting Pictures
As a founding partner of Shooting Pictures, David has led over a hundred shoots in Africa, Asia, Europe, America and now Greenland. David’s work for broadcasters and commercial organisations has led to collaborations with many of the UK’s leading comedians including: Dom Joly, Alistair McGowan, Ross Noble, Ronni Ancona and Russell Brand, and socially aware projects have taken him to Rwanda (Genocide) and Liberia (Deforestation).
Beyond the Pole is his second feature film (Flyfishing, his first, starred Frances Barber and Kate Ashfield) and sees him working again with long time collaborators actress/producer Helen Baxendale and writer Neil Warhurst.
NEIL WARHURST Writer
Neil is an award winning comedy writer for BBC Radio 4 and has worked with Shooting Pictures and the BBC regularly since 2000. Since being nominated for the Richard Immison New Writing Award for the radio series, Beyond the Pole, Neil has become a regular feature in the comedy schedules with credits including: Taking Charlie, Dumbheads, The Really Rough Holiday Guide, The Spaceship and Edge Falls.
